Last March 1 to 3, Imagine Nation went to Camarines Sur Watersports Complex for a workshop with Bangkok based Internationally awarded photographer Manny Librodo. Kharu Jazmin tagged along to take a break from her hectic modeling schedule.
There were 16 participants from Imagine Nation who came: Jayjay Lucas, Derrick Lim, Noel Salazar, Jamie Lihan, Carlo Cecilio, Shayla Hembrador, Mikki Eduardo, Zeus Martinez, Marie Rimmer, Jaja Samaniego, Gracielle Hernandez, Toto Villaruel, Arlene Briones, Jowell Mariano, Tine Katipunan & Dominic Barrios.
It was a great fun shoot... something different from our usual paid shoot. It was fun being students again and adding on to the flame for our passion for photography... For me as shepherd to this team of great people is that we allowed 2 people (Manny & Kharu) to take a peek into how we run our organization. How one can mix work & faith (not religion). In the end, i am touched by Kharu's words:
1. Thanking us for giving her a much needed break (vacation) due for so many year.
2. That she has found a family in us and that when she retires in a years time, she has found where she can transfer her creativity to. (we will take you up on this kharu).
3. That she is there incase we need her help.
4. That the last time she rode the bus was highschool (yes we rode the bus going to CWC and back).
Coming from someone who we never knew prior to her coming to CWC... and for Kharu to forego of her plane so she could spend more time with us.
